The JST power connectors are labeled bass ackwards.
For about two centuries, every electrical connector has been sorted with the "male/female" classification. Been workin' pretty good. Kinda easy to figure out.
Maybe its just me, but just because you put a protective shroud around the male pins doesn't make it a female connector.
So grab a mitt and get in the game, JST. We never would have made it to the moon that way.
