Hello,

I was wondering how to get video signal on a monitor with the dji phantom and the tarot gimball.
I have one cable from my tarrot gimball : the video line.

How do I use this cable in a FPV setup ? Haven't got a transmitter , receiver,... yet.
I was looking at the immersionRC 5.8GHZ transmitter , but I have no idea where to begin.

[h=1]Thanks in advance ![/h]

Just a personal opinion but I wouldn't fly FPV with a camera on a gimble as it's almost impossible to tell what the quad is doing, even with an OSD using a turn and bank indicator. It is much easier to fly using FPV with a solid mounted board camera.

These will get you started with FPV....

This stuff is pretty easy to use together and is almost plug and play... Hope that helps. :)

Thanks for the reply.
Just want to see on a monitor what my gopro is filming and I always have my phantom in sight , so I think the gimbal isn't a problem.

I already looked at the ImmersionRC 5.8ghz video transmitter , but I don't have a clue how to connect it with the video out from the tarot gimbal.
Any Idea's ? mmersionRC 5.8Ghz Audio/Video Transmitter

You could make it real easy on yourself and get this cable which would go directly from the GoPro 3 to the video transmitter.... :)

Without the gimbal this would be great but with the gimbal this isn't possible because the gimbal is already connected in the gopro.

Hmmmm Interesting.... Mine didn't come with that and was something extra I had to purchase at the time (I didn't). Is that for recharging the GoPro? Maybe that is one of the differences between V1 and V2? (I have the V2 plastic frame)

I tought it was standard , I bought the phantom second hand. I removed it and the gimball works like it should ! So yes it's just for recharging the gopro. So now I can buy the cable to connect the gopro to the immersion RC.
Thanks a lot FlyGirl !!!
I connect the gopro with the cable in the link you gave me to the immersionRC. But can you also tell me how to give power to the immersion rc or a image wich cable goes where.
Sorry for the questions , but I'm really a newbie!
