Strange whine coming from motor? see video

Hi,

I have a new hexacopter thats only been in the air a couple of times so far. On the last flight I noticed that with right yaw input, a strange whine came from the copter.
No whining sound from left yaw input. I also noticed that the rear right (M5) motor seemed to be a little warmer than the rest. Could the sound be coming from this motor? Could it be faulty?
Cant take any chances with faulty gear on this rig.

Motors are the sunnysky v3508 380KV.

Please see video in link and let me know what you think!

Many thanks!

If you have a concern especially if this is simonK esc's you will want to follow there advice and ground test it. put one prop on one motor and rev the throttle, if it screeches or locks up your f'd, if it runs perfect, fly it.

Im using Hobbywing Platinum 30A OPTO Pro esc's with their stock firmware so no simonK. Went with those esc's to avoid the syncing issues. All motors perform perfectly fine, its just the one that makes the funny sound at a certain rpm and gets warmer than the rest. I will do some tests on it to try and figure out the problem. It has been suggested that maybe the bearing is giving out. They definitely do not perform like the one in your video. Cheers for the help.

make sure that motor doesn't have a screw going up into the windings, easiest way to tell is de prop, loosen all the bolts holding the motor a turn or two and fire it up to listen for a change... if it clears up it was you, if not and is obvious, you might well have a qc issue
