Sony NEX for Aerial Stills

Hi,
I'm looking to fly a Sony NEX.

Since I'm considering a used model to keep my cost down,
I'm not sure which model I'd need that has an interval timer capability.

I understand the newest models can be loaded with an APP the facilitates an interval timer.

Also what are Sony NEX aerial photographers using to remotely trigger their camera and what is the range if the trigger.

Flying a DJI F-550 with Naza M so I've heard Naza and WiFi signals don't mix well.

Thanks in advance for any tips or photos of your NEX set-up.

We fly a nex 5n with a rcshutter trigger. Works great.

I use a Nikon V1, which has a built-in interval timer. Might be worth considering.
