Sleepy Reviews - DRONE VLOG 14 - FLYING THE 360FLY CAMERA ON A GIMBAL & SLEDDING

Today I awoke to a blanket of deep snow. So I took to the air and flew a little. Then sorted out the Hexacrafter X8 and Gremsy gimbal and got the 360FLY camera stabilized and in the air. It's still a work in progress but it was a successful first hop. It's defiantly a brain tease as I am learning more about 360 deg video. Editing it in FCPX or Premier is interesting to say the least!

And then... SLEDDING with the kiddo and wife Amy!
It was a great day!

With any lipo or lit-ion batt, I expect a 24% decrease in time in cold weather so I plan for it. In winter If my rig can do 15 min in normal weather I'll limit the flight to around 9 minutes, just to make sure I have no cold weather sudden voltage drops. Also, cameras, and gimbals and such discharge much faster. My BMPCC camera can last 35 - 40 minutes in summer, it's tiny batt only lasts 15 - 17 min in the cold!
