Shutter question on a Nex7

High,

has someone already tried the panorama function on a Nex7 with a Z15?

The problem is, that the shutter is only working in normal mode = taking a picture.

When you try to make a panorama the camera takes no input by the shutter.

When the S800 is standing on the ground and you press the shutter knob manually, everything works fine.

But shutter by tx is not working for panoramas.

I often make panoramas, and I usually do them in post, I use photoshop for this.

So in order to make panorama just park the MR in GPS mode and release the shutter manually as you rotate in 30 degree increments. One big thing when you do this, do not use auto exposure, set the iris, white point, iso and shutter speed manually and leave it that way for the flight.

Then use the automatic stitching in PSD or similar program to make beautiful panoramas. Often some manual adjustments make these perfect. I used to do all this by hand before PSD had the automation. I once did an entire train journey of 20 miles as one long strip, all hand stitched, it was used in a museum ride to simulate a trip down Crawford notch in the White Mountains.
