I looking for a LIPO Battery replacement to get rid of the AA battery set-up. Any suggestions.

This is what I use. You have to open the battery compartment, to charge (to get to the balance leads), but a full charge will last many, many hours. Dry cells should stay in flashlights, not RC radios.

I may be missing something. I have the SKY RC LiPo/Life Balance Charger the came with my Iris+. (Picture attached)
The picture from hobbyking shows the white connector that plugs into the transmitter (or) plug into charger when needing a charge. I understand that. But,what about the Red & Black lead wires coming from the charger, do they connect to anything?

The wider white connector goes to the balance port of your charger (on the side). The smaller white connector, which only has a red and black wire, plug into your radio, where the AAA pack used to plug in. BE CAREFUL and keep red to where red was, etc. with black. The other black connector, that looks like a servo connector, is what I use to charge the battery. Again, red to red, black to black. You'll have to rig up a jumper, to go from the X60 on your charger, to a servo type connector, with male pins. Also, if you fly much, you'll want to get a bigger/better charger in the future.
