recalibrating ESCs for 14SG and SBUS

I am switching from Futaba 7C (no F/S) to 14SG on SYSTEM "14 channel FASSTest" using R7008SB in sbus 1 (ch8)
I'm trying to throttle calibrate for this new Tx and Rx.
I am powering the Rx to CH7, since the ESC are non BEC (maytech OPTO 45A).
I have tried signaling the ESC with Rx CH3 and with the SBUS(CH8) but I am not getting any response, no chimes.
In order, powering Tx, then powering Rx then powering ESC.

Any help appreciated,
