Potentiometer centering problem

Hello guys,

I'm having a very interesting problem, which makes me sick more than ever :)

I remember the time when I changed the roll potentiometer on my AV200. I just plugged in it, made a very minor adjustment on MK Tool and it worked.

I got two Cinestar gimbals. One of it, it worked out of the box. Just tightened the screws and plugged it into MK, made some adjustment on camera tab on MK tools, it was ready to go. Later on, I installed Copter Control for camera stabilization and it also worked perfectly.

Second day, I built the my second CS gimbal which is 3-axis this time. I plugged it into the Copter Control and the roll was having a strange issue. It was travelling endlessly on one direction. I noticed that the servo got very hot. I thought it was a poti centering issue but centering didn't solve it. Then I thought the problem was with the servo so I took the servo from the previous working CS gimbal. But the problem was there still. It also got hot. So I took the potentiometer from the previous gimbal and the problem was still there. When I plug in a resistor to the potentiometer cable of the servo, I can use it with transmitter directly but no compenstation.

To center the potenitometer, I followed the instructions which was told here step by step:

I
center the pot perfectly, whenever I plug it into the MK roll servo or CC or RX 2nd channel, it goes nuts.

I changed the servo to Savox 1258TG, I used another 3 turn pot but still having problems.

So:
  • 3 different pots are used
  • 3 different servos used
but still the same problem. It2s obvious I'm doing something wrong but can not figure it out what it is.

Any ideas about this problem would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Ok, I've tried the potenitometers on AV200 and they are working perfectly, And I spent just 10 seconds on centering the pot! The roll servo is Savox 1290MG.

Could it be possible to damage the servos while using and RX channel? But I can use these servos with a resistor without a problem.

Okay, I solved the problem. I plugged the servo's potentiometer plug into the pot reversed so the problem is solved. It looks like the CineStar standart servos are reversed.
