Hi,
I'm very new to all this and spent so much time reading forums and instruction books I'm in total brain overload..
I started on the simulator, then got a Blade MQX, and now I'm basically in control...?? I've moved up to a second hand Droidworks AD4, with Wookong M flight control, a Spektrum DX8 and AR8000 receiver, and a photohigher AV130 gimbal, as a learner platform, with the intention of building up a something like a skyjib as time goes on.
The AD4 was all set up when I got it, the previous owner gave me a couple of hours going through everything, and I'm very happy with the way it flies.
However it is set up for shooting video using the gimbal for stabilisation only, and I now want to have control over the pitch.
I understand that I can setup the Wookong and the transmitter to use the X3 knob to control the pitch, (this knob is currently set up for gain).
I've installed the wookong drivers and assistant software on my pc, but I'm terrified of changing anything in case I upset the setup, and despite spending many hours on here, and on youtube researching, I simply don't seem to be able to find the information I need to be confident to make any changes.
My first question is what do I do about the gains..??? I tend to leave the X3 knob in the mid position, can I find out what this equates to in numbers, and set these as the preset gain values in the wookong software..??
If anyone could offer any help I'd be most grateful.
Many thanks
Andy
