Phantom2 and Light 250mw vtx and gopro black 3+ question??

Hi all,

I have a Phantom 2 with 3d gimbal, gopro black 3+ and light 250mw vtx and need some help. This board plugs into the side of the gopro which is fine but the gimble doesn't see it, what do I need to get the gimbal to see the camera again? Is there a way to power this board without a battery strapped to it?

Ok, lets try what this, what does everyone else use for transmitting video to there dominator goggles from the gopro>
