Phantom max operating altitude

Does anyone know if there is a specified maximum operating altitude for the Phantom? (I.e. Relative to sea level, not above the take off point)

Well, depending on your country, it should be about 400 feet or so. That's air safety regulations, sensible and worth adhering to, not based on mechanical/software from DJI.

I flew my Phantom 1.2 taking off at about 8,400 feet and going up 200-300. No difference in performance at all.

Go for max climb speed / battery endurance. I assume this is for Enclosures / FRC for RPQ-s? The CAA just want to know how far it can go if it flys away essentially and draw a bubble!

You're on my wavelength! By that logic it's about 24000ft which is a bit scary. Is that the kind of t
figure people generally put down? There would surely be some performance issues before it got to that altitude wouldn't there?
