Anyone see the new cheaper GoPro Hero. 1080p @30fps, waterproof and no wifi $129. Looks like it would be great for a multirotor.

Haven't seen that one yet but I just watched the Go Pro Hero4 4k show reel. The horizon still sucks and the closer the camera is to ground level the worse the condition is. Correct the fish eye and they'll have something to write home about. Until then it's just a hobby grade action cam. Good for that purpose but not for professional quality work.
The basic Go Pro you mention sounds like it does what the Hero 3 White does, with wifi. I paid about that for the one I have.

You can always replace the stock lens with an Aico 5.4mm lens.
