New from Maine

Hi all,
I am new to this forum but not new to drones. I used a Falcon 8 for 3 years for aerial imaging, but now I want a platform with more flexibility for my mapping project in Ecuador and hope to find here more info.
Professional I am a GIS and Remote Sensing Analyst at the University of Maine.

just short for now, GIS are geographic information systems or Geo-somethings

Check the esri.com website for all you need to know about GIS. It's definitely science.

Ecuador... I think you probably are familiar or associated with TMA and the Jama-Coaque Ecological Reserve. I wrote an article on drones and learned about the conservation work being done there.

I have used GIS whilst working with Architects. It's very clever stuff.
