NAZA Lite + cheap radio?

Probably a stupid question. I have a NAZA Lite w/GPS I want to put on my AeroSky 550 hex. It came with a 6 channel AeroSky radio and receiver, made by ???
I ordered a better 9 channel radio/receiver, but it won't be here till next month (CHINA). I thought about going ahead and installing the NAZA with this cheap radio that it came with, but noticed that they are only using the signal wire on the receiver (1 wire) even though the receiver has 3 prongs, but no locating notch. Would it hurt to use the 3 wire servo cables to connect to the NAZA module? Also it appears the AeroSky receiver picks up it's power on channel 3, not on the end, like most receivers. HELP:upset:

I don't know this for sure so bear with me.... It technically should work fine especially if you can find a pin out for the receiver so you know which is the signal wire. The issue I think you will run into though is I don't believe the Aerosky radio is programmable is it? So when you came to setting up your 3 position switch for the various modes (GPS, Attitude, Manual or RTH) I don't see a way you could do that. Myself, I think I would just be patient and wait for the new radio.... JMHO :)

I dunno? The radio does have 1, 3 way switch, "channel 5" and a "channel 6" 1 way switch. The little receiver has 6 inputs marked 1 thru 6 top to bottom, all 3 prong, and a 7th with only 2 prongs, marked "set", which is where the binding plug goes I guess. The 5 volt power is connected to channel 3. Never saw one like this. The radio and receiver are working fine, but the hex came with a multiwii, controller, and no GPS.

The Lite will work fine on the quad, that's not a problem. And you may get lucky if the 3 way switch magically has the right sub trim and end points for the switch to be able to select modes. However, chances are it won't be right. Is the hex currently flying with all the stock equipment?

Yes, I had her flying, AFTER I setup the multiwii with my computer. Has lots of power, and I want to mount a camera (fixed, no gimble) so I want GPS stability. I wish there was some way to identify these cheap radios and receivers, and be able to find manuals, etc.
