Naza GPS losing GPS lock when throttle applied

I bought the Naza GPS upgrade for my Naza controlled Ecilop. Installed and ran through the setup process today. Everything seemed to go perfect until I tried to fly in GPS Mode.

As soon as I switch to GPS mode I get red lights x4 then 2x green lights repeating, obviously no GPS lock. Its weird though, I get the intermittent green light when I don't have the props turning, but as soon as I throttle up the Naza lights go nuts and GPS doesn't work.

Has anyone had this happen and found a solution?

My GPS is mounted on one of the forward arms of the quad, and roughly the same plane as my props. There is only about an inch of separation between one prop and the GPS - could that be an issue?

p.s. not sure if it makes a difference but I am in New Zealand.

Appreciate any help!

Made some "progress"... Seems my GPS plug was fouled. Have since remedied it and even managed to get a GPS lock for about 15 seconds before it lost GPS signal and started drifting. Now it just won't pick up satellites. grrr
