hi all again, i'm a new member of the forum and a new entry on the world of the multirotor.
i'm really sorry for my bad english... i will show you my first completely home made quadcopter , but as you can see i need a little help to can archieve the right thrust to lift what i need.
first i have drowing my oun frame with 20mm carbon tube , all the tube clamps are made out of black derlin and the frame is made with gf10 plate 2mm thickness
the goals i want to reach is to can have a stable platform to lift 800-900grams of payload, this payload is a little brushless pantilt i have made with alex board and a panasonic lumix
the multirotor i have in mind have the following components
4x 30a dji esc
4x tm4008-12 600kw motors
2x 4s 4000 30C batteries in parallel mode
at this time i have done a test with 12x3.8 apc SF prop
but but but... i'm not satisfy with the result... it can lift the gimbal but i'm not at 50% of trottle for my naza V1 with V2 upgrade and all seems suffer for the heavy weight.
the AuW of the multi is 3.300 grams with all mounted, battery, gimbal, camera, cam for fpv, video tx, and 1000mha 3s lipo for the gimbal , tx, and light.
may be i need to try more big prop as into the datasheet of the motors i read that i can mount 14x4.7 and have the maximum thurust for the 4s setup but the data say that the combo will be running hot (but how much is hot????) i need to try.
here some photo of all the works i have done and at this point i'm in progress to change all as i will like to have more lift , obviusly as an hobby i dont want to spent too much for big combo like mk motors or axi even if i know they are the best and also i well know that more you spent less you spent ;-)
anyway... the cheap way to try to carry the gimbal i have done and is 850 grams is :
option 1 buy other 2 motors like the one i have and make an hexa
option 2 leave all into the same quadro setup and make a coaxial with other for mt4008 (not cheap but i think super performance)
option 3 buy 8 tmotor 2814-10 770kv that i have found used with few flight and i can buy and save 40% from new
also into this adventure i have done a try with 4 carbon fiber prop slow fly and before the teke off one of the 4 blade go broken and fortunately dont make any damage to me or any other thinks...
any advise or suggestion will be apreciated.
i will love to carry on air the camera as soon as possible to can make some nice shot to show to Bart my little island ;-)
here some photo , hope to dont bore you
