Mounting Z15 under the center of S800

Has anyone who uses retractable landing gear tried to mount Z15 exactly under the center plate of S800? My experience with other multi rotors shows if I place the camera gimbal right under the bird exactly where the COG is and place the lipo pack over the bird exactly above the camera gimbal (above COG) I get the most stable and longest flight with same equipment and weight. I did try to perform this experience with Z15 and S800 with no luck. It is not possible to mount Z15 under the center plate of S800 especially if you use retracts. The pipe holding right and left legs of retracts does not allow the pan motor of Z15 to take place and the retract servos do not leave enough space for Z15 damping plate in between. I guess some modifications are needed to achieve this. I wonder if anyone has a solution for this.
