More housecleaning, signature lines

Hi guys,

I'm trying to do a little more housecleaning this week to tidy things up around the website. One of the issues being addressed is the use of signature lines. Until now I've left the signature lines open for people to put unlimited stuff but it's getting a little out of hand. To resolve this I'm in the process of putting limits on how many lines of text can be listed beneath a post as a signature. Also, there will be a limit on how much formatting can be added to the text. SOme of you will see that your signature areas have changed and so you may want to address that to correct the appearance of what you have there.

Restrictions will include text size (I've got to change mine as well), color, use of HTML, placement of pictures or animated .gif files, etc.

what started this was the retirement of my web developer. i'm back at the helm running the site's backend so i've been in the admin stuff sorting through all the settings and there have been a few issues I've wanted to address.

How about the reward system. For every 1,000 posts you get a bold letter. just joking of course. "I'd like to buy a vowel."

Thanks but that only gives me 3.2 bold letters. I could bold the "Fly" in Fold-N-Fly. Sorry Bart, didnt mean to hijack your post.
