Mikrokopter MK Navi board with or without ACC?

I bought my Navi board without the ACC for my current Okto but in planning the Droidworx Okto, is the ACC required these days for the new firmware?

The ACC was only included on the MK3Mag for use in other robotic applications and for a future head tracker application.

"head tracker", my mistake i thought it was heading tracker and maybe something useful for flying.
