Another Build.

Using:

20x20mm Aluminium Square Tubbing, cut into 27cm lengths.
and 3mm Plywood, cut into a hexagonal shape.

Hardware:

DJI Naza Flight Controller
Turnigy NTM 28-26 1200kv motors.
18a ESC.
Gemfan 9x4.7 Propellers.
Zippy Compact 3s 4000mah 25c battery.

Frame Weight: 480grams

Total Flight Weight: 1860grams (Flight time 8.30 minutes)

Spiral Hex V2

Another version of the Spiral Hex Frame

500mm Motor to Motor

Using:
15mm Quad Mouldings (Tasmania Oak Timber) for the arms
6mm Hardwood Ply for the main body.
And components from "Connect It" for fixing the arms.
And custom made motor mounts, made from right angle aluminium.

Motors: Turnigy NTM 28-26 1200kv
ESC: Turnigy Plush 25a
Propellers: 9x4.7
Battery: Zippy Compact 3s 4000mah 25c

Frame weight: 527 grams
Flight weight with Battery: 1507 grams
Flight weight with FPV & Gopro camera: 1804 grams (Flight time 8.30 minutes)
