KK Flight Controller kk2 tricopter servo not working

Hi

any chance some one is running kk2 on a tricopter ?

i used to have a hk2.1 board that worked fine until i killed it when i crashed.

now i put the kk2 on it .. everything is nice but the tail servo that is buzzing but not moving.
the servo is working. ( checked directly to the rx ) the kk2 can see the rudder moving on rx test screen .. but the yaw is not working.
and i know it should work only when tris more then 10%

google does not find any thing about "kk2 tricopter tail servo not working" and other variations of this ...

thank you for any idea ...

Guy, hopefully someone can offer some help for you.

I'm curious how well a tricopter flies compared to other layouts - thoughts?

Edit:
There is no 5 volt in the headers at The output side. I took 5 volts from the rx with a Y cable and now it works.

I also needed a servo reverser for the yaw to work in the correct direction.

Needs to threadlock the screws and set the correct gains ... but ...

Will it fly ?

They fly very well and can be very agile as you can see here... This was about a year ago?

ok :)

short fpv and a little crash.



after changing the props and fixing the tail mount with some dental wire i had in my pocket .. the tri flew 4 more pacs .. :)

I have the same problem. Gonna try the power thing. This is the first post i found on the internet that addresses this sort of problem.
