Hi , just wondering ......I have an elcheapo DIY 600 quad with 700kv multistar motors , Afro 30a esc's , and 12x4.5 apc slowfly props . I put a controller board which was about 30 bucks on it called Eagle X6 6 in 1 multicopter flight controller . It has just basic things on it . It has just 3 adjuster knobs for gyro gain , stability gain and stick rate (D/R) . And it has also two servo wire inputs for gimbal stabilizing . I put a turnigy 8ch receiver on it too with 9xR tx.
Im just trying to adjust the settings , the three knobs , as it says on the instructions these have to be fine tuned for good flight .
All the the stabilizing and controls and throttle work good and the controls feel nice and solid , the only thing is that when it gets airborne it does this quick up and down jumping thing like as if the throttle control is pulsing or something . And just before takeoff if I move the aileron and elevator around at low throttle it slowly takes off then does the jumping thing . Like fully as though I were moving the throttle stick up and down when I'm not .
Does se anyone know why this would be ?
I could only think of maybe it's too light and needs a heavier battery , or maybe it needs some of those green circle ferrite cores around the signal cables .
I had a 3s 3000mAh lipo on it and none of the esc wires or servo wires are near anything at all !
Has as anyone had same experience and what would you suggest to do ?
