Ideal smaller set up.

So, with improving smaller cam tech and new releases like the Black Magic Pocket, we no longer really need to be flying 7kg octocopters to get pro footage (with the exception of Epics etc).

What would your ideal light weight setup be? Lets use the Black Magic Pocket Cam as our example.

I've been thinking about this recently. I personally would still want a Y6 or X8 for redundancy and would probably opt for the Autoquad 6 FC as it looks very impressive....and I've had lying around for months.

The Black Magic Camera got a weight of ~ 355 grams (without lens)...on top of it you need a gimbal (something like this one: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1949482) where the weight can vary a bit, but all together camera and gimbal won't be more than ~ 1,2 kg.

In your case I would have a close look at the Droidworx XM-X4 Titanium....

Top quality and easy to pack up and trave.....

Obviously there is a lot of other frames on the market, but this one would be my choice.....but I am sure you will get a few alternatives suggested as well
