You still need to update the naza to the latest firmware to use the BTU, I also use a Mac but I ran VMware Fusion to run windows inside the Mac system, works fine. There are other options such as Parallel's which does a similar job or Boot camp where you can install windows as an option on start up.

Sorry but I do not know of any work around without using windows

I'm also a Mac user. Fusion plus a thin-provisioned Win7 VM. Works for me.

I just bought a cheap PC laptop, that way you can take it to the field with you to make adjustments. Well worth it.

Most later Macs have bootcamp (installed), or you could use Parallels Desktop (Purchase)...
