I found this site while looking for an alternative means to increase flight times:

I think this company has been around since 2007. They design hydrogen fuel cells in a solid state ("safe") to power UAVs progects, etc. They also have powered RC cars.

What's your views on micro fuel reusable fuel cells?

Looking at the weight of the biggest (30w) system, and looking at the wattage requirements of MR's capable of lifting said weight....we are a long way off from seeing these become a efficient option for us 30 watts from 1kg of gear just isn't going to cut it for us.

I wrote the CEO of the company. He told me that the current technology would not be able to supply the power requirements of a vertical take off and landing machine.

We need 600wat and up to 3000 wats. So still a long way to go.
