The original LED's (2x green, 2x red) for orientation on the arms of the DJI S800 are a joke. One option would be to mount some LED strips on the arms, like in the attached pic:
But to my taste this looks like a rounabout at an amusement park. What I really want is to disable the original LED's and mount flashing high power LED's below the esc's. I got the device to produce a flashing pattern (programmable) already, but with the million different LED's avalible and the fact that I am a Noob in this field, I am lost by choosing the right LED. I would like to get the light intensity of the LED indicator which is part of the WooKong M. I took the LED indicator apart, but can't make out what LED it is.
I can get a housing CNC'd, but I need to know which LED comes close to the WKM LED indicator and how many Volts I need to power them.
