Hi from Harrisburg PA

Yeah, I can blow that up.
Greetings! Joining on a recommendation from RCGroups. I've been in many forms of RC for the past 20 years. Two years ago I learned to fly CP helicopters for work (production company) with the intent on building a multi-rotor for AV. After flying several types of MR's I decided a custom built Hoverfly X-8 would be the way to go. We are very happy with Hoverfly! We have been shooting professional video and stills for about a year now. I love this hobby and now I get to do it for work too! :tennis:

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi JZ,
Welcome to the site. We're going to try to get together on Aug 25 so maybe you'll be able to join us. Picking a spot has been something of a challenge but we're working on it.

I'm in Central NJ and others are from Boston to Baltimore.

Hey there, I'm in DC and do some video work and have been looking at uavs for a while. Still have yet to see one in person, have been researching the cinnestar 6 or 8. Any chance I might come up the road and check yours out when you are doing a shoot or just flying? Thanks for considering. Regards, John

Hi John, I am certainly willing to share what I have learned. I'm no expert but have had very good success with our Hoverfly X-8. I don't currently shoot with a gimbal as I have yet to see results that are smooth as shooting with a fixed camera.

Thank-you JZ, I guess if the x-8 has good maneuverability then why need a gimble? I think Harrisburg is a couple hours away, is that where you fly as well? I'd be happy to adhere to your schedule either to see you work or for a demo. Holler to me at jperryh64@earthlink.net and perhaps I can come up there soon.

Hey JZ, didn't mean to be presumptious, if there is a better way to contact just let me know. If you are on vaca, disregard and email me when you get back. Thanks much, john
