I have perhaps bitten off more than I can chew... I recently purchased all the parts for a large Hexa...
1200mm Hexa Vulcan Multirotor frame; 6x T-Motor 4014-9 motors; 6s Batteries; APM 2.6 flight controller...
My problem is that the drone is completely un-flyable with the default PID settings (default settings are for a small 3DR/Jdrone)...
I am hoping that someone on the forum who may have a Hexa with large motors and a 1200mm frame who will share their PID settings with me...
I have found tuning in a jig to be tricky at best. I would prefer to tune in the air with some settings which will permit flight!
(Attempts to tune rate D have resulted in motor mounts snapping and motors flying off when the rig begins to oscillate!)
