Hello from a Berkshire, UK based middle aged Grumpy Old Man (apparently, according to others).
I'm self-employed (since three weeks ago - by choice). Got fed up of the 9-5 grind and since Apple & Microsoft started in the 1970's recession, I thought I'd emulate them.
I shoot aerial photography (more in a mo), teach First Aid and am also an Access Control engineer. Bit eclectic but none of it is 9-5 and I can mix and match. They pay "OK", "not bad" and "well" but not necessarily in that order.
The AP is using a Draganflyer X6. Bought it 3 years ago. I'm fully prepared for any flak as general opinion is that it is an overpriced toy. I beg to differ. It's RTF, I'm not interested in building from scratch and tweaking. I wanted it purely for commercial reasons and I'm happy with my purchase and making steady income from it (ignoring the fact that we've just had the worst June for ages). I have tinkered as I now have my own camera mount which holds the camera more stably than the DF one.
My one and only hobby is being a Community Responder. Check it out on my Scheme's website.
