GPS offset numbers

I am looking for a little help, on my quad copter I am trying to figure out my x offset number for the GPS placement. My quad is in an x fashion, so with that said if my gps is 7 cm behind the CG point would the x number be a -X (negative) or X (positive) number.

The way I would think of it, It should be a negative number however when looking at the diagram in the assistant program, it looks like it should be a positive number.

I currently have the offset in a positive number and I am not sure if its traveling more then it should when I rotate the quad on the z axis.

Love to hear if I have the offset coordinate system right.

thanks Jack

If the gps is behind the IMU then its a Negative number , also the height above the Imu COG is also a negative number for the gps .
Hope this helps.

yes that helps, I thought the number behind the IMU would be a negative however when I looked closely at the diagram they show in the assistant app, they show they're sample position behind right and did not use a negitive in the x figure.

The z value on the GPS I would have never figure out, to me above is positive and below is neg

I just went back a looked at the assistant software again and see exactly what you said.

Thanks again Geoff even though it is there I was something I definitely over looked.
