Gentled Activation / control

I have just got my Gentled trigger for my Sony Nex5 and wondered it I could activate it when I set my GPS hold.

Or If I can use the the three position switch I have for come home. I have come home on position 2. So can I use position one to activate the Gentled?

I do have it working as per Dennis O'Haras instructions ;

But thought it would be more practical to enable it when I want to

From my understanding the 3 position switches just set an output of 0 (1ms), 50%(1.5ms) or 100%(2ms), I cant see a problem with using a Y split on the GPS channel. From the manual for the gentled trigger it doesn't specify any particular speed of pulse so I can only assume any voltage seen at A will cause it to start.
