I'm Matt and from Perth, Western Australia.
A few weeks ago I decided I would buy a multirotor drone. It was going to be either a DJI Phantom 2 or a second hand ready to fly DJI F550. The F550 won out, but not sure if I'm regretting it as I've yet to get it off the ground yet. Has tipped over twice, broken a blade, can't get Naza Lite software to work with the thing.. *sigh* Purchased some 'toy drones' to practice on, plus Real Flight 7 after the tip overs. Took my drone to a hobby shop to get it looked over, and they recommended that I look over it myself as it would be a very hefty service fee.
Anyway, plans are to eventually get my CASA licence.
Hoping I can find the solution to some of my current problems on here so I can get into the air soon
