Had my 500X spit a prop blade yesterday whilst hovering at 200 feet FPV. You can see the blade fly off quite clearly in the GoPro video before the quad spirals into the ground.
I had always thought that the Gaui props were pretty good (they seem well balanced), and had never had this happen before so I was surprised when it did. Lucky it didn't happen the flight before when I was flying over a 100 foot deep lake!
Note, these where the "Gaui" replacement set of blades and didn't have any Gaui markings on them like the original kit blades did. Could be a different brand of props slapped in a Gaui bag. Either way you better be careful! Moved to APC props now...
