Flamewheel power board cable

Probably a noob question that I couldnt find the answer for using the search:

Does it matter what gauge wire is used for the connection to battery connector pads on the power board?

Would 14 AWG be OK?

The DJI ESCs are 16 AWG and the VU is 20 AWG.

I just want to make sure I am not making any silly errors
