First attempt at Aerial Video with my Gaui 500 X

Instead of buying a 10-22mm lens for my 60D i went ahead and bought a Sony Nex 5N with the 16mm F2.8 prime lens and hard mounted it to my Gaui 500 X. Took some footage of some of the local scenery near my house on a cloudy (and slightly windy) day.

I am happy with it as a first attempt but would like to get a camera mount that has vibration isolators, and that has a tilt and roll feature. Thinking of the Mikrokopter Hisight 3. Can anyone tell me what they think of this mount?

Ideally I would get an AV130 but I fear that the extra weight would hamper the 500 X. The hisight looks quite light weight but still functional.

I really liked that vid! Great place to live, too! Would have given me pause flying near all those white pigeons.

Great video Jamie! With the hard mount how did you get all your angles? In most shots it seems as though the camera is facing almost forward and then towards the end it looks as if it is pointing down. Did you make multiple flights and change the mounting angle?

Cheers - I have a home made mount that I can change the angle of the camera. The last shot was made with the camera angled right down, I just wanted to see how it looks.
