Discussion Fimi X8 SE

My goal this Summer was to by a Mavic drone, however, I still feel that my piloting skills are nowhere near where I’d like them to be to justify such a big purchase. However, recently I learned about the Fimi X8 SE as a good beginner drone that is outside of the ‘toy’ category.

Has anyone used one, or have any thoughts or opinions on the drone and/or brand?

Wolf- I've heard from a drone pilot friend that it is a great option! The price makes it a comparable choice to the mavic air. Which Mavic are you saving up for? I just got the 2 Pro, lightly used, on a buy/sell app.

seems to be a good option as far as i can tell if you dont need the sensors it will work great also the camera is as good or better than dji apparently?

Thanks everyone,

This makes me feel better about this decision. I haven't made a firm decision on the Mavic just yet (which explains my hesitation) but something in the $600 - 700 price range.
