DX8 and 3pos Switch help

I've plugged X1 on the NAZA to Aux2 on my AR8000. I've then set up the Aux 2 Gov switch as:

0 A Mode
1 Fail Safe
2 M Mode

I had to go into Governor on the DX8 and set the switch positions as

Pos 0: 0.0%
Pos 1: 43.5%
Pos 2: -85.0%

Ch: Aux2 Sw:Gov

In the Naza setup software flicking the switch moves to the correct position on the TX calibation screen in section 5 and the bar goes blue as I flick the switch.

However when I try it out for real and flick the switch to Position 1 Fail Safe the I get a rapidly blinking orange LED on the VU - Is this normal?

I just went through this as well with the DX8. Are you running as a helo or airplane?

I'm in airplane and using the FLAP switch as my flight controller switch, AUX2/GOV as the IOC, AUX3 Nob for gains and the GEAR switch for TX failsafe. Everything working so far.
