I'm about to have some test parts cut from 2mm carbon fibre and wonder whether there'd be any interest in these from other Droidworx frame owners.
The parts will include:
• standard size lower leg plates
• low profile lower leg plate - not suitable for use with an underslung camera
• a variety of rail plates - these should be suitable for use as mount points for video Tx's and Graupner Hott Rx's among other things
I have other ideas in the works, these are just initial ideas and i'm open to suggestion.
The material will be twice the thickness of the standard droidworx landing/rail plates.
The designs are not direct copies for obvious reasons, but will make use of the remaining/existing landing gear parts and are designed to fit the existing gear rail. I have also sourced grommets which will work with the thicker material.
I'm hoping these will also hit a lower price point too.
