The Hexacopter type drone is based on PX4 autopilot system by 3D Robotics. The controller is supported by 2 GPS/Glonass system and 2 compasses. All of it results in great stability of a flight, precision of the autonomous missions and safety in case of a failure of one of the systems. A light carbon fiber frame is made to designed to be easily and quickly disassembled for transportation and equipped with electrical landing gear. The drone is powered by hi end Emax brushless motors paired with ESC’s from the Czech producer Jeti.
The platform is supplied with power by battery cells Tattu made by German manufacturer Gens Ace.
The drone is capable of carrying different types of gimbals – from small designed for GoPros to big solutions meant for professional moviemakers.
Our platforms are controlled by high end Pixhawk controller, produced by 3D Robotics.
Main functions of the 3DR tower software:
- Creating route by dragging points on a satellite image on tablet/PC
- Arc flight through connected points of interests
- Orbiting around set center with camera lens constantly pointed in desired direction
- ROI (Region of Interest) – camera lens always set towards interesting object, with no concern about the route
- “Survey” – automatically generated routes in order to cover an area of choice
- 3PV™ Follow Me – maintains a camera focus on you while a drone is following you. A position of a drone is fully adjustable during the mission
- Easily scan big 3D constructions
- Dronie – creating unique selfie shoots
- Optimization of a drone parameters via manual UAV controller, in order to get best possible performance
Drone specification:
- Hexacopter frame with removable arms and electrically folding
- chassis 3DR Pixhawk
- flight controller 2 GPS/Glonass systems + 2 compasses
- Emax MT4114 motors
- Jeti OPTO 30A Esc’s
- Wooden T-Motor 15” propellers
- Board camera
- FPV 200mW 5.8GHz system
- Futaba T8J remote radio controller
- Max take-off weight - 12kg (26.5lbs) – Max flight time around 12 minutes
