after changeing out the flight controller board. The motors do not start until you push the throttle over half way and The copter will not take off.

any ideas ???

@Bartman might have some experience on this. He did a youtube video explaining how to set the control gain (think he used another term) from tame to acrobatic and points in between. It's possible, but unlikely, that you may be on the bottom end of the gain setting.

If you push in the right stick you should hear a single hi or lo beep. Hold it a few seconds and it should start beeping continuously. Move the throttle from zero to full while holding the right stick in to set the amount of responsiveness of the controls. Lo tone is "tame" mode while a Hi tone is "aggressive" mode. His video explains it better.

I've heard these things just die after awhile. It's a 'cheap' brush-type motor so the life expectancy isn't anywhere near that of a non-toy brushless motor. Amazon and eBay have replacement parts. One vendor claims to have 'upgrade' motors, but I can't vouch for them fitting.

Edit:

Have you tried connecting one of the other motors to that channel? If it runs then you know the original is dead. Otherwise it sounds like the board if the leads are soldiered well.
