Both! Don't charge them in the car and make sure you treat them real nice!

Yes, it was a 2 cell lipo that went up, obviously not protected in a bag. The pic is from my Italian friends brother, so the details were mostly lost in translation, but he did say the fire was caused by a 2 cell lipo going up in smoke.

Not good.

When I test one of my old 6s lipo, I set it short on purpose and it pops smokes for a while then nothing happens....I guess it's also got something to do with different manufacturer's chemical compound?
