When I got my Phantom 2 a month or so ago I was frustrated to see that the DJI assistant for connecting and updating firmware for the Phantom was ported to Mac, but the RC assistant for updating the firmware to the DJI transmitter was not. I see now that they have a Mac version on the support page dated 2-20-14. I downloaded it tonight and it appears to work (did not actually hook it up to my transmitter since I just updated my firmware). Anyway, now we don't have to find a Windows box when we want to update the Tx.

Wouldn't it be nice if DJI created an Assistant software that covered all of its devices? One program to cover all devices, especially if it only loaded the config pages for those devices it detected were connected. However, this is purely a nice to have not a must and I can't see them ever doing this. Ho hum.
