sure it might fly better, be more responsive, but the dji props suck because they are cheap chinese made crap. you are better off getting a better prop set.
apc,gemfan,rctimer cf's.

Cheap props will destroy your craft. They are probably the cheapest thing on a multi rotor, but will cost you an arm and a leg if they break. Graupners if you can afford 'em or stick with reliable, battle tested APC props. Trust me... I'm still rebuilding from my crash that happened months ago. Invest wisely.

I have to agree, I fly an S800 and the stock props are ok.. But I ordered a set of these from cnc :

The difference is night and day between pure carbon fiber and composites, they are far stronger. I am not flying with them yet as I am still testing my wkm. Can't afford for dji not to replace my unit in case of failure.

That said I put an f550 together last week and am already looking to bump up the motors and props. Likely graupners.

DJI recommend 8" or 10" on 3s and 10" on 4s to be honest flew both on 3s and the 8" we're much better... However, once I put the 10" Graupners on (3s) the difference was amazing.. Buy them for sure, more reliable and must nicer to fly..

If you like rebuilding, have a lot of money to throw out the window and do not mind jeopardizing your safety self and that of your surroundings, you've got the right prop! Keep going and you will see for yourself soon...

I have a lot of respect for DJI products; I owned a FW 450 and a FW 550, both fully equipped (NAZA, GPS, strobes, etc...) and I have been very please with their flight performances, after minor mods (see article in blog page 3 ref: ESC and motor connectors mod). In fact, I am reviewing the new DJI 5.8 GHz video downlink and the results are excellent so far. ONE exception however...you guessed it: DJI props. I will make it short: they aren't good enough for key chain so they automatically go to the garbage. I fly on Graupners or APC. If the only prop available is DJI, I stay on the ground. Since I have adopted this philosophy, never had a prop issue to report.
