Aeronavics / Droidworx DJI A2 M Flight controller on Droidworx frame....

baja-king

Here for the ride :)
Has any body got one of the A2's yet on a DW frame?

General thoughts? - better than the WK-m?

Planning on buying a second flight controller and can't decide if I should go for the discounted WK-m (which I already have working well) or the new A2...

Not interested in the receiver part as I'm using Jeti - Just want to know if it flies better? or if the software is problematic

Thanks in Advance

Steve

Hi Steve,

I switched out my Hoverfly control boards for the A2 for use on my Skyjib 8 and it seems like a solid setup so far.

If you go for the A2, be careful setting up Jeti PPM if that's the route you go as this has known issues. There is some info on it on one of the German forums and DJI acknowledge the problem. Cant shed any more info at the mo- sorry.

A2s appear to be very hit and miss. Get a good one and you will have a good experience. Get a bad one and all will be well until the nth flight when it could go completely doolally. Up to you but my view is that the WKM flies perfectly well and the difference in the WKM v A2 is noticeable by the pilot but not so much in the end product ie the imagery you take.
