DIY Wire Rope Isolator for Gopro

Thought I would have a tinker with Wire Rope Isolators.

After a number of prototypes this is what I have come up with so far.

Using:
1x 40mm PVC pipe cap. Cut down to 1cm.
1x 50mm PVC pipe cap. Cut down to 1cm.
1x length of 1.1mm Wire Rope. The same cable they use on bikes for changing gears.

I tried 1.6mm and 2mm wire rope but found it too stiff for the weight of the Gopro.
I will post a video shortly with the results. So far it's looking very promising, just need the weather to clear up.

Finally had some good weather to test my Wire Rope Isolator. It has reduced the Jello effect quite substantially. So far very happy. :tennis:
