cw and ccw prop adapters?

I currently fly a dii vision and it has the self tightening propellers, I am currently building a 650 size quad and was wondering about the prop adapters that come with the motors, do I need to buys some thing special for the motors that are spinning back wards? Or do i just tighten the heck out of them and go?

Tightening the heck out of them won't work they will still fly off eventually. You need to either buy the appropriate prop adapter for the way the motor is turning or use a lock nut.

I just opted for the lock nut. Easier and you can get them anywhere...although they don't look as nice as a prop adapter.

Why not get CW and CCW props for your Quad? It's cheaper than prop adapter.

LOL, he will be using CW and CCW props but you can CW and CCW prop adapters, means that one tightens left and the other tightens right and in operation they do not self loosen. They are overrated in my view, just use stainless steel locking nuts.
