Connecting servo wires to FC and Receiver

I have a Naza V2 flight controller and a Spektrum AR8000 receiver. The servo wires are brown, red, orange. How do I know which way to connect them to both the fc and receiver? ie Which color is on top?

Do all flight controllers and receivers orient the pin location the same way? Meaning is the signal always on top or bottom?

On the Naza m v2 the signal wire (orange) goes on the bottom . The Ground wire (Brown ) goes on top. Some people remove the red Wire ( hot or current ) wire. I don't use the red wire if my esc's have a bec. If the esc's are OPTO then some people do connect the red wire ( i still don't use it). I have a Futaba receiver and it's signal wire is on top and the ground wire is on the bottom. I use the S-Bus system so I don't hook us the receiver in the traditional way a Spektrum would.

I'm a litle confused then. According to the DJI wiki page the signal looks to be the top pin?

yes that picture is confusing. The pic on the right is upside down...If you note it says the pin near the tab is the signal one. Futaba servo connectors have a little tab on the edge and that is where the signal wire is next to. On the FC the tab goes on the bottom. My Naza M v2 I have the signal on the bottom, red in the middle and ground on top.

I'll confirm that the B&W image on the right in the WIKI is definitely wrong. The ground wires go on top. Use the illustration that is printed on top of the Naza.
