Clover leaf antennae tips please and why can't I find them to buy online anymore

I just received the clover leaf antennae this week so I went back to my two favourite online RC supply stores to see which is RX and which is TX. Searched both sites and it appears they no longer offer the antennae, I suspect patent laws may be the root of it so I found that info on other sites. My question is should the IBCrazy cloverleaf type antennae be at 90 degrees to receiver and transmitter or does it matter? The co-axial cable is flexible so I can make a bracket to retain the antennae at any desired angle.

Finally watched the video Stacky thank you. The video gave me the answers I needed regarding antennae mounting and also answered why looking straight ahead when wearing my Fat Sharks gave me better reception than looking down did. Very good instructional video.
