Changing Yaw characteristics..

Is there a way to change the yaw in my P2 so that it doesn't feel quite so..not sure what word to use...responsive? I'd like to be a little more organic, mushier, less servo-like.

For that matter, I wouldn't mind the same thing for the gimbal.

I use the TX that came with the P2 but if switching to my Futaba T8J would allow me to make adjustments to these things, I could. If it were easy!

You can change the Yaw gains by using the Phantom 2 assistant software. Once you download the correct driver installer for the windows version that you use, download the assistant software and the gains section is in the "Basic" tab.

Just lower the yaw gains by 10% each time before you fly until you get your desired effect.

Really nice on the futaba 14 SG and 8 to do a dual rate to 50% and or slow the servo speed. It really helps.

My D/R is at 100% and my expo is at 80%. I have a switch to change my yaw D/R to 60% when I am shooting.

I regret I must admit that I don't know what an expo is, although I'd love to know!

Expo and dual rate are standard on all regular transmitters. They are different was of kind of slowing down the response of the copter
do some internet searches and you will learn a lot !
